Palm-Sized Press is an independent press and online flash fiction writing community, accepting writing from all over the world.
We publish online and in print, focusing on our three primary projects:
- Palm-Sized Press, a bi-annual magazine available in print and digital format
- Short collections and chapbooks, available in print and ebook format
- Palm-Sized Prompts
Magazine Submissions
Not currently open for submissions
Our bi-annual magazine accepts submissions on a rolling basis. This means that we accept submissions every day, year-round. During the reading periods, we review all submissions received that have not yet been reviewed.
Accepts:
- Flash fiction, up to 500 words
- Articles on writing and craft
- Art*
We generally feature one artist per issue. If you’d like to submit art, please consider submitting a set of 6+ pieces with a common style, medium, and/or theme.
Submission fee:
From $2+. This small fee helps us pay our contributors. You can submit as many pieces as you like per genre.
